Moumita studies in class five. Her teacher has given a task to write a paragraph on their visit to zoo in Kolkata. Here follows what Moumita wrote down from her memory:
Last Sunday I went to Kolkata Zoo with some of my classmates and four teachers. We entered the zoo at about 10 am and started to move around the zoo in a group. An elephant's trumpet all of a sudden puzzled us and we were quite astonished to see four elephants in chains. In the cages we saw wild lions and lionesses with their cubs. The lions were sleeping, but the tigers were roaring and showing their canine teeth. Most attractive were the birds of different species. They were singing on the branches and flying here and there. The rhinos were moving wildly and the hippos were opening their huge mouths.
At about 2 pm we had our lunch there and then again we moved here and there. There we saw many snakes of different sizes. Our teachers explained which were venomous and which were non-venomous. We returned home in the evening by bus. This educational tour enriched us a lot.
মৌমিতা পঞ্চম শ্রেণিতে পড়ে। তার শিক্ষক তাকে কলকাতার চিড়িয়াখানা ভ্রমণের ব্যাপারে একটি অনুচ্ছেদলেখার কাজ দিয়েছিলেন। মৌমিতার যা মনে ছিল তাতে ও যা লিখেছিল নীচে রইল :
গত শনিবার আমি কয়েকজন সহপাঠী ও চারজন শিক্ষকের সাথে কলকাতা চিড়িয়াখানায় গিয়েছিলাম। আমরা সকাল ১০টা নাগাদ চিড়িয়াখানায় ঢুকেছিলাম এবং দলবেঁধে চিড়িয়াখানার চারদিকে ঘোরা শুরু করলাম। একটা হাতির ডাক আমাদের হঠাৎ হতচকিত করে দিয়েছিল ও আমরা চারটে হাতিকে শিকলে বেঁধে থাকতে দেখে খুবই অবাক হলাম। খাঁচার মধ্যে সিংহ ও সিংহীকে ছানার সাথে দেখেছিলাম। সিংহগুলো ঘুমোচ্ছিল, কিন্তু বাঘগুলো গর্জন করছিল ও তাদের দুধারের ছেদক দাঁতগুলো দেখাচ্ছিল। সবথেকে আকর্ষণীয় হল বিভিন্ন প্রজাতির পাখি। ওরা ডালপালায় বসে গান গাইছিল আর ওড়াউড়ি করছিল। গন্ডাররা এদিক-ওদিক ঘুরছিল আর জলহস্তীরা তাদের বিশাল মুখগুলি খুলছিল।
দুপুর দুটো নাগাদ আমরা সেখানে মধ্যাহ্নভোজন সারলাম আর তারপর আবার এদিক-ওদিক ঘুরতে থাকলাম। আমরা বিভিন্ন আকৃতির সাপ দেখেছিলাম। আমাদের শিক্ষক আমাদের বুঝিয়ে দিলেন কোন্গুলি বিষধর আর কোন্গুলি নয়। সন্ধেবেলা আমরা বাসে চেপে বাড়ি ফিরলাম। এই শিক্ষামূলক ভ্রমণ আমাদের খুবই সমৃদ্ধ করেছিল।

Ans. Last Sunday I visited Alipur zoo with my family. There were so many wild animals and birds. Parrots of different kinds and colours were the first to welcome us. There were also pigeons and cuckoos of different breeds. The deer and the monkeys were wandering in their cages. I was frightened to see a crocodile. We could see the tigers clearly. All the animals were in their own self. It was a thrilling experience to visit a zoo.

Ans. Our school celebrated the Nazrul Jayanti on 25 May, 2019 in our school ground. It was the 120th annivarsary of the poet. At first, our headmaster garlanded the photograph of the poet and gave a magnificent speech on his fiery writing. The school president also told about his fight against injustice and colonial rule. Few students and two teachers sang Nazrul Geeti.
আমাদের স্কুল ২০১৯ সালের ২৫ মে স্কুলের মাঠেই নজরুল জয়ন্তী পালন করেছিল। এটা কবির ১২০-তম জন্মবার্ষিকী। প্রথমে প্রধান শিক্ষক মহাশয় কবির ছবিতে মালা পড়ালেন ও তাঁর আগুনে লেখার ভঙ্গি নিয়ে চমৎকার বক্তৃতা দিলেন। তারপর স্কুলের সভাপতি অবিচার ও অন্যায় শাসনের বিরুদ্ধে তাঁর লড়াইয়ের কথা বললেন। কয়েকজন ছাত্রছাত্রী ও দুজন শিক্ষক কয়েকটি নজরুলগীতি গেয়েছিলেন।
